Mac incompatible (lack of quality)

These Verbatim discs used to burn like a charm with my Mac computer, unlike discs from most other manufacturers. However, with my most recent purchase, I have not been able to burn a single disc so far.

Verbatim DVD+R DL

I have never had one single bad burn with these discs to date. By far the best out there right for making backups.

Slow

use memorax to burn on dl this disc has a speed of 2.4x and is slow took 4o minutes to burn transformers two a 2.30 hour movie then i used the memorex dl disc 8.5x wicth is much faster and it took only 20 minutes to burn look for the record speed you will be able to burn things much faster

Made in India discs not as reliable

After trying to get away using cheaper brands and burning lots of coasters in my 2 Sony burners I switched to 2.4x Verbatim dual layer discs to back up my DVD movies for use in my country home. I never had a single problem until I began using the Made-In-India discs. Now I either burn about 5-10 coasters or the finished disc produces a glitch or stutter on my Sony or Pioneer DVD players. The Made-In-Singapore discs NEVER did this. Check the label before you buy. That said, I have been unable to find the Singapore discs for a year now. I understand the newer 8x Verbatim discs are all made in Singapore but they cost more. Save your bad discs and contact Verbatim. They have always honored the warranty.

Great discs amazing quality

These are the only dual layers i use...i burn movies and xbox 360 games on it...works like a charm and is less stressful on the 360 laser these are highly recommended
