Currently, the Future Shop desktop gadget is only available for Windows Vista (any version) and Mac OS X (Tiger 10.4 or newer).
To install the gadget, make sure that you have at least 5MB of available disk space and an Internet connection. Simply click on the Download link above and follow the installation instructions.
The Future Shop gadget requires Windows Vista (any version) or Mac OS X (Tiger 10.4 or newer) and at least 5MB of memory space with an Internet connection. There will be alerts to download the next version when the gadget gets updated. This non-transactional gadget is customizable with your postal code (for e-flyers) and will filter categories for certain areas of interest.
After you’ve installed the Future Shop gadget, you may want to customize it to suit your needs. There are a couple of areas where you can change settings so the gadget works best for you.
To start, go to the Flyer section and input your postal code. This will allow you to see the weekly flyer for your region.
To choose which categories you’d like to see information on, open the Preferences menu. Windows Vista users can click on the Preferences tool beside the gadget while Mac users should click on the little “i”.
Once you save this setting, you will be able to filter out new products that you are not interested in. Your customized gadget will only show you new products from the categories that are important to you.
