WASHER FEATURES.

The GWT460BW washer is ENERGY STAR® qualified, using about 40% less water than non-qualified washers. It uses 19 gallons vs.the 31 gallons per cycle that traditional washers use. Not only that, but the water and energy-efficient spin and rinse system showers clothes with water instead of flooding them like agitator washers do. It then spins and drains water at the same time, leaving less detergent, less soil and less irritants on your clothes.
Get a more balanced load.
Saline solution in the tub ring helps keep laundry loads balanced, even when you’re washing heavier towels and blankets. The washtub has a rod and spring design that maintains an equal balance and the float system regulates tension so the machine will balance quietly without shutting down.
Other manufacturers use this system only in their high-priced high efficiency models, but Haier uses it in all of their models.
A quieter machine
Haier’s unique suspension system works as a noise-reducing shock absorber. It uses counteractive force to balance high-speed spins and prevent the washtub from hitting the inside of the unit.
Stainless steel is better.
The stainless steel wash basket not only lasts much longer than traditional porcelain or plastic tubs, it’s also more sanitary.
DRYER FEATURES
Not too hot, not too cool.
Haier’s temperature sensor measures the internal heat in the drum and reduces or increases it based on the load, preventing clothes from over-drying.
No more wrinkled clothes.
Sometimes your laundry is dry before you’re ready to fold it and put it away. In order to keep your laundry wrinkle free, Haier’s Wrinkle Saver feature periodically tumbles for up to an hour at the end of a dry cycle.
Even the door makes it easier.
Haier’s hamper-style dryer door opens downward, creating a handy platform for easy loading and unloading and helps keep your laundry off the floor. It’s also placed at a higher position, so you’re not bending and straining as much, either.
