History

Future Shop traces its roots back to 1982, where the company grew from one 4,000 sq. ft. store in Vancouver, British Columbia, to become Canada’s largest retailer and etailer of consumer electronics. With more than 140 stores across the country today, Future Shop employs more than 10,000 Canadians who provide customers with expert advice about home and entertainment technology in-store and online. A proud corporate citizen, Future Shop has programs in place to keep electronics out of landfills, participates in volunteerism and supports non-profit organizations dedicated to transforming local youth into Future Generation leaders.
