Naturally, there are a few rules. Our terms and conditions.

  • In order to qualify for the FREE ground shipping offer, your total purchase must be greater than $20 before taxes and environmental fees, excluding Gift Cards. The purchase of gift cards does not count towards the minimum $20 purchase requirement.
  • Cancelling items or changing your shipping preferences can affect your order’s eligibility to the FREE ground shipping promotion.
  • The FREE ground shipping promotion does not apply to products that require scheduled delivery regardless of the total value of the order.
  • Yes, you can get FREE shipping in conjunction with a purchase using an eCertificate. The qualifying amount is the total value of the eligible products purchased after the eCertificate is applied, and before taxes and environmental fees.
  • You will NOT receive FREE shipping on your order if any eligible items are cancelled, bringing the total value of your order below $20.

Why would I want to pick up my order at a Future Shop store?


It’s fast. During store hours, you can pick up your order within three hours of placing it on futureshop.ca.

It’s convenient. You can pick up your item whenever it’s convenient instead of waiting at home for a package to arrive.

You get the lowest price. If the product you ordered is available at a lower price in the store you selected at the time of pickup, your credit card will be charged to reflect the lowest available price.

How do I use the In-store Pickup option on futureshop.ca?
It’s easy:

  1. Place your item(s) in your shopping cart and click the Pick Up button (all items need to be available for Pick Up in order to proceed).
  2. Select your store by clicking either the “Pick/change Stores” button.
  3. Select one of the stores that has the item(s) in stock where you’d like to pick up your purchase.
  4. After you get through checkout, wait to receive 2 emails:
    • Order Confirmation email – verifies we’ve received your order.
    • Store Pickup Notification email – confirms the store has reserved your item(s) and your purchase is ready for pickup. It will also walk you through the steps you’ll take when you get to the store. This email arrives within 3 hours during store hours.

How soon can I pick up my order?
After you place your order, you’ll receive a Store Pickup Notification email. This second email should arrive within three hours.


What should I do when I go to pick up my order at the store?

  1. Within 3 days of receiving your notification emails, please bring the following items to the store:
    • Store Pickup Notification email
    • The purchasing credit card (your card will be charged at the time of pickup)
    • NOTE: Only the person whose name is on the purchasing credit card can pick up the order at the store.
  2. Proceed to the Product Pickup area at the Customer Service desk.
  3. Your item(s) will be ready at the Product Pickup area. For select items, the store will arrange for retrieval from inventory (this may take a few minutes).


Lowest price guarantee.
If your product is available at a lower price in the store you selected at the time of pickup, your credit card will be charged to reflect the lowest available price.

  1. When can I pick up my online order at the store?

  2. A. After you place your order, wait to receive the Store Pickup Notification email, which should arrive in your inbox within 3 hours of placing the order. You can pick up your purchase anytime during store hours after the Store Pickup Notification email has been received and before 3 days has passed. Store locator.

  4. A. The Store Pickup Notification email and your purchasing credit card.

  5. Why do I need my credit card to pick up my order?

  6. A. Your credit card is used to reserve your item(s). Your credit card will be swiped and charged only at the time you pick up your order. A receipt will be provided at that time.

  7. How can I pay for my purchase?

  8. A. You can use any credit card currently available at futureshop.ca: your Future Shop Credit Card, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX.

  9. Can I take advantage of your extended financing offers?

  10. A. Financing offers are not currently available at futureshop.ca. If you wish to take advantage of one of the extended financing offers, please make your purchase at a Future Shop store.

  11. Why can’t someone else pick up my order for me?

  12. A. In the interest of your security, only the person who made the online purchase can claim store pickup merchandise.

  13. Can I pick up pre-ordered items at the store?

  14. A. No. Pre-ordered items are not in-stock at stores when you place your order so the item(s) cannot be reserved. You can order pre-ordered items on-line and have them delivered to your address.

  16. A. At the time you pick up your order at the store, an associate will assist you if you wish to add a Product Service Plan to protect your purchase.

  17. Why can’t I have an online order shipped to a Future Shop store?

  18. A. When you use store pickup, you're choosing to buy, reserve and pick up an item that is already in-stock at a specific Future Shop store.
    This option is not available to item(s) not in stock at the selected store.

  19. Can I change my delivery or pickup method?

  20. A. You can change the delivery or pickup method only by canceling the original order and creating a new order.

  21. How do I cancel my In-store Pickup order?
    (1) Please check the status of your order by signing in to your account: if your order has not been passed to the store, you can cancel it from "My Orders" - to log in, click here.
  22. (2) If you have received your Store Pickup Notification email but have not yet picked up your order, please contact the store direct. Click here to find your nearest store, including the contact phone number.

  24. A. Please note: some items are not available for pick up at a store because we may:
    • Be out of stock at the store you selected
    • We do not carry the item (s) in our stores, or at the store you selected
    • Because the item needs special processing, like major appliances, TVs 40’’ and Over, furniture, gift cards, services, web-exclusive items and more.


  25. Why was my order rejected?

  26. A. Sometimes an item may show available for pick up at futureshop.ca, but by the time the store actually receives your order and looks for the items to reserve, these items may already have been sold to another customer. This is why it is important to wait until you receive your Store pickup Notification email before going to the store. For Limited Quantity items, we reserve the right to decline orders to ensure stock is available for walk-in customers.

  27. How do I return any unwanted items?
