There are two ways to return or exchange a product purchased online.

1) In-store
You can return an online purchase in-store. For Account Holders, simply print out your PDF invoice, which is found after logging into your account on the My Orders page. Guest users can also find their invoice on the My Orders page after providing some basic information including your order number, name, and billing postal code.

With your invoice and item you wish to return or exchange, visit the store and speak with an associate at the customer service desk.

Products that are available online only can also be returned to any Future Shop store with presentation of the invoice. You’ll be refunded the unit price of the item, minus the shipping cost. If the item was defective and we can’t replace it, we will also refund the shipping cost.

Online-only products cannot be exchanged for an identical item in a Future Shop store as they are only sold through our online store. You can exchange it for a different product sold in the store or follow the Exchanges and Returns - By Mail instructions below.

Products purchased online and picked up in-store can also be exchanged in any Future Shop store, and via mail (see instructions below).

To exchange or return any online purchase that is a Scheduled Delivery item, please call us at 1-800-663-2275 to arrange pickup.

2) By mail
To return a product by mail, simply call our customer service department at 1-800-663-2275 and one of our agents will supply you with a shipping label and mailing instructions. You can also arrange an exchange with our call centre staff.

Our customer service department will help you with your exchange or refund the full value of your purchase. The funds will be applied to your credit card within seven days.

Due to copyright laws, computer and game console software, music CDs, DVDs and videos in opened packages may only be exchanged for the same item.
