Stores in Winnipeg and Brandon now open from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. CST on Boxing Day

 

(Burnaby, BC) December 23, 2010 –Future Shop, Canada’s largest retailer and etailer of consumer electronics, announced today all Future Shop locations in Manitoba will extend business hours on Boxing Day. On Sunday, December 26, 2010, Future Shop stores in Winnipeg and Brandon will open their doors at 6:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. 

 

The move was made to accommodate the high volume of shoppers expected to visit Future Shop on Boxing Day and comes following the provincial government’s decision to allow retailers to set their own hours for Canada’s most celebrated retail sale day of the year.
