Cheapest bang for the buck

I got it to read magazines in colour, cheaper than an e-reader, fast, and expandable with micro SD card. Screen looks great. Probably wouldn't recommend to watch movies. Get a bigger tablet with better screen/audio.

NO Sound

Dont buy, the sound is soooo low, and to top it off the speaker is on the back of the tablet...who designed that! Other than that, no problems

Mine works great, but ...

My only problem is with the camera. I realize there is just the one front view. I do NOT want to take pictures of myself, so how do I take pictures of others (people, pets, views, etc.)? A little hard to get it set just right, right? :) Same with videos ... is there a trick to this after all??? Hope to find some answers.

bad experiences

I bought 2 for my friends, I thought it was a good deal. However, when I tried to listen to music and movie, the sound is so low so I can barely hear the voice, then I changed my earphone, same problem. I tried so many times, and turned volume up, no change. The speaker must be a defective parts. I found it is not only my problem, all have this problem. I will come to return it tomorrow.

You get what you pay for

I realize there's alot of negative reviews about this tablet, but you have to realize this is the cheapest tablet available. It's not meant to have BEATS audio or lots of storage. It's meant to get you into the tablet world for a low price so in the future you can upgrade to something better like a Windows or Apple tablet. This tablet works fine for the average user. If you plan on reading books, this is just fine. If you plan on watching Netflix, the screen is a bit small and you'd have to use headphones.

Happy with it so far

I bought this tablet and I'm very happy with it so far. I've taken some pictures which turned out nicely. The sound is great with my earbuds. I can read books with it and wi-fi works well in strong spots. I can even see it without my reading glasses on. Great tablet for starters!

Don't buy

I have bought it and very disappointed to see the sound of the tablet. The volume of sound is too low to enjoy. I will return the product tomorrow.

Acer tablet

This item is horrible. What a waste of money . The volume does not produce enough sound. It sounds like a mouse screaming . Do not buy this. I warned you .

Great Little Tablet

Not too shabby for a economic tablet. The microSD card did wonders. Connectivity to WiFi is on and off depending on dead spots. Screen is not fully TFT. Resolution is not too bad. Allows for easy access to look up gas prices before heading out. Better than booting up a laptop. Great starter tablet. Easy start-up and easy to use.

Not for everyone

Bought this yesterday. Some games wouldn't load up. And to try to watch anything on Netflix was a very painful experience. If all you want to do is a little bit of web surfing and email this is perfect. Otherwise spend a little more money.

Exceeds expectations a lot!

Bought this as a low-cost alternative (2nd tablet) for the iPad. I gotta say... VERY impressed. For the price, it's especially great. It's fast. It's Wi-Fi connectivity is fast and strong, the OS is fast and responsive. One thing I haven't tried yet is plugging as USB stick into it to watch a movie or something, 'cause the USB input is Micro, not full size USB, so I don't know if it can do that or not. Still, no biggie, 'cause it plays nice with Windows, so just copying something to the inserted SD card is a breeze to do anyway. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 7" tablet. No hesitation!

Update to my previous review

After a little more time with it, and comparing it to my Galaxy Tab 2 7 the screen has a blue tint as well as poor viewing angles in landscape mode, and the speaker is at best only a third as loud my tab 2. I am returning it.

Decent budget tablet

I bought mine on sale. Performance is excellent no lags etc. Physically it is a little bigger and thicker than others, but looks OK. Has card slot for extra storage. The screen has comparatively poor viewing angles and the speaker isn't great but are acceptable at the price I paid. Performance is excellent but could use better screen and speaker.

Great Budget Tablet!

I owned a Blackberry Playbook before this but sold it due to lack of Skype. I saw this Iconia on sale and thought I'd give it a go! It turns out its a nice fast little tablet. 8GB storage is on the small side, I'd highly recommend you buy a 32 gig Micro SD right away, gives you plenty of room for movies, music, books, etc. This tablet is fast, battery lasts a while, and it is very slim and light. Only downside is there is only ONE camera, in the front, and it's VGA resolution. My old Playbook had dual 1080p cameras, but I seldomly use the camera anyways.
