A Bazooka subwoofer adds the bass, clarity and realism your system is missing with absolutely no modifications to your car, its warranty, or its original audio system. The BTA8100fhc features an 8 inch dual voice coil subwoofer that works great behind the seat of mid-size and full-size trucks, the trunks of sedans or hatchbacks.

More Information

Designed to be a simple-to-install, yet effective upgrade to your car's existing mobile audio system, the A100 Bass Tubes feature a 100 watt, mono amplifier built right in, coupled to a dual voice coil woofer. Since the amplifier has a built in crossover to remove the high frequencies the woofer cannot play from the signal, you get exactly what you need in the A100's crisp, clean bass and nothing more. The Bazooka tubes are so efficient and compact that it will sound like a pair of 12" subs with twice the power in your vehicle. When connected to your system, the end result is seamless integration, both electrically and audibly, yielding sound quality your factory autosound system simply can't touch. The BTA8100FHC includes FAST HARNESS - a universal factory interface kit to allow the tube to work with virtually ANY factory DVD or CD player.

Huge Difference inside a Toyota Tacoma

Easy to install. I question tapping into the head unit power but I figure if it were to draw too much current it would only pop the fuse which it hasn't. If your current sound system is lacking I highly recommend this. For the price this is worth it.

Great Upgrade

Happy with this purchase. Looked at other powered subwoofers but all were overkill in size, power and budget. Thought about getting the 10" but this 8" Bazooka adds just the right amount of thump without permanently damaging my ears. Kit comes with straps and plastic mounts which I screwed onto plywood in my sedan's trunk. Instructions say to tap the power from your head unit but this seems sketchy, so I routed a 16 guage wire directly to the battery instead of tapping into the stereo's power (like Bazooka's website says to do if you weren't using their fast connector). I also added a manual switch on the remote wire so I can turn it off when my wife uses the car.

great product

I just bought the bazooka tube last week and got the store to install it for me and the guy who put it in also sold it to me, i believe his name was Gil. he did an awesome job, it almost looked like he knew what he was doing....J/K he installed it in my truck. before i purchased the item i was sceptic about it sounding any good but gill insured me that this would sound great and he also tuned it for me... I'm telling you right now if you are in Richmond B.C. go to the one on bridgeport they will take care of you and make sure that the product you are buying is the best one for you...... Thanks Guy!!!!!!!!!!

Bazooka delivered as promised

Great way to complete the sound of decent factory stereos. I installed mine with very little trouble. The F.A.S.T. Harness really allowed for a simple process. I am extremely pleased with the results. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple way to add some boom

The Best

If you are looking for a great sub that does not require a lot of effort to install, this is the one. you dont even need to run wires from the battery just connect it to your radio. It sounds much better than regular 8" subs and does not make the trank vibrate and make this annoying sound that ruins the songs definitely 5/5 from me

8inch bazooka

Myself and a few other friends of mine all have the 10 inch sub, then my other buddy got an 8" that i installed overall it works fantastic. It doesn't hit as deep as the 10" but still exceptional none the less given the price you can't go wrong with either. Installation took an hour but I've done it several times :)

AMAZING BASS FOR A STOCK/MILD AUDIO SET-UP!!!

Ok, i picked this tube up on sale and had it installed at a shop in just an hour and its amazing!!! All the mids and low end bass that my stock 6.5 components were missing (or not reproducing clearly) are now heard and sometimes seen (mirrors vibrating)! This is the easiest and cheapest way to add a real punch to your audio system! If your stock speakers already sound decent, then this is the sub for you to complete your car and really enjoy your drives!!! not too mention it takes up so little space!!! only downfall is if you dont secure the sub properly, it will roll over.

Great add-on to stock system

I added this to the stock cd changer in my 1998 Honda Accord and it really brought the system to life. It's plenty powerful for me and a great upgrade for the money, though I was not looking for anything that would rattle the neighbours' windows. Only slight wrinkle was that it does not come with installation instructions for the FAST harness - I had to download them from the Bazooka website. Once I had those though, the installation was pretty easy and this is coming from someone who has basically no car audio installation experience.

Product Review

I purchased this Bazooka Tube because I needed to keep storage space in my Yaris hatchback. Installation is a Breeze and These little subs do sound like 12 inch subs. You cant go wrong these sound real nice and gets you to hear frequencies you don't out of the stock factory radio. A must if you like bass :)

It's OK but...

It is an OK product. Compact, very easy to install, and it sounds allright. However, there is no way it sounds like two 12 inch subs(which I didn't expect anyway) like the claim on this website. If given the choice again I would have just bought the 10 inch model for a few more bucks, And don't let the 16 gauge power wire scare you-it seems to be adequate although why they don't include a fuse holder in the wiring harness seems odd.

bazooka

Firstly, I recommend, NO I insist, you upgrade to the 10" Bazooka.I tried both and the "oomph" is far superior with the larger sub. Sounds awesome in my Mustang coupled with the factory "Mach 460" speakers. Wiring is not too much of a problem, however if you're not too handy or "electrically" challenged leave it the pros. ( wiring consists of removing the head unit and lifting up the carpet to mount the sub in trunk or somewhere behind the passenger compartment). It most definately is not a 30 min. job as noted by the packaging. If you choose to install yourself.....take your time and do it right.

Kicks Hard

I had bought a VW Golf, not much room for Amps and Subs. I thought I would try the 8" Bazooka. With the Sub and its own Amp mounted behind the rear head rests in the hatch area, not only does it sound great with the stock Monsoon Head Unit, but it also does not take up any useable space. Install was fairly easy with the supplied harness and up till now, so far so good.

Bazooka

Have had the unit in for a week now in the rear hatch area of our car, sounds excellent, reverberation in the hatch area is perfect. Huge improvement from the oem stereo sound, hear way more mid range now as well and the bass sound is excellent for this small investment. The radio is a standard oem deck, not even the upgraded unit with factory sub which I have heard at the dealer, it can't touch the bazooka level. FS installation was also perfect, extremely satisfied.
