Sound is good No problem so far (more than a year). Cause seriously, unless you are a real musician, this thing is more than enough. Another thing to consider: - if you press slow, it will sound in lower volume, if you press hard, it will give harder volume. Just like in the real piano. HOWEVER, the key does not have any weight. Usually if you want the one that you can feel the weight like in real piano, you should aim for much more expensive one. -Another thing is, it is not included with sustain pedal, nor does it have sustain that is embedded in the system (my old casio, [...] had that). -It has a transpose. In conclusion, unless you are a musician, and really into music, go for higher one. Otherwise, seriously this is more than enough.

Sound Could Be Better

When the keyboard arrived I was immediately disappointed with the sound quality. The Kawai X20 keyboard I bought at a yard sale actually has a much nicer tone. The board is configurable enough to suit my needs and the step up lessons seem to be helping. The inability to save the current set up means the same choices must be made every time the machine is turned on. I purchased the keyboard on sale and it is worth that much. Yamaha has an equivalent machine at a similar 'full price' point and I would want to hear that machine before deciding which to buy. Over all, I'm happy with this keyboard but I know it won't be my last.

best value

lots of features for a minimal price! It is very light but sturdy and comes with an easy to read display which shows what key/note you're hitting and where you are on the piano. the touch response is awesome! you won't find anything better at this price! especially with MIDI capability. display also shows what keys to hit on the songs loaded on the piano. I would definitely recommend!

Casio 61-Key Keyboard

Sorry - decided to return the electric keyboard. Nothing wrong with it and the price was a real bargain - just much more complicated than I'd hoped. Tried it several times (and I DO play the piano) but seemed like more of a chore than the fun I'd hoped it would be.

Very good product

For a beginner, this keyboard is very good, and the price is excellent. Unlike the basic model, the keys in this model are touch-sensitive, which means the harder you press, the louder the sound you get, just like a real piano.

Great keyboard

Timely delivery; Good price for a decent keyboard with velocity-sensitive keys (some cheaper models are not, even though they claim to be "touch-sensitive") to substitute a piano, though it lacks the piano "feel" when playing and pedal had to be bought separately. Light and portable

Good product for the price

I just received it few weeks ago and I'm just a beginner in playing piano.but I'm very satisfied with it so far. For someone who want to try learning to play piano but don't want to spend too much in case he wouldn't like it, it's a good move. Surely a wise choise for children too.

Beautiful Electric Keyboard

This is a beautiful electric keyboard, that is vey appealling to the eye and I am very impressed with the sound. I love the step up lesson. Compared to the other casio keyboards not sure if this one is worth the extra money would depend on what is needed in a keyboard. I bought this keyboard and paid the extra because the Ck 2300 was not available at the time.
