Seems fairly well built with thick plastic containers and two stainless steel cutting blades, and several other accessories. However, the shredding and slicing discs both have two 1 inch holes in them. The instructions say you can grind nuts using the shredding disk, but most of the nuts fall through the holes intact. I didn't try it with other foods, but this will happen with any food that can fit through the holes (for example, if you're shredding cheese, when it gets small enough, a 1" piece will fall through the hole, so you'll have to pick out the chunks from your grated cheese). Some nuts also fell through between the blade and the bowl, because the disc was a bit wobbly. Another concern is that the lid has two plastic layers, about 1/2 nice apart, with several holes around the top layer. There are a couple of holes in the handle, as well. When you wash it, dishwater (along with any oils or food particles) gets into the lid and handle, where you can't get at it. If you use the food processor with messy foods, you'll end up with a build-up of gunk in the lid, which I suspect will get smelly. Too bad - the rest seems pretty good.
