Not for gaming

Full HD screen always sounds appealing, but the reality is that it is just a fancy screen. I personally really like this graphic card. Nvidia GT650m is a mid tier decent graphic card. It basically allows you to play any games with medium or high setting with at least 40 FPS. Besides the graphic card, I think RAM and Screen are both below average. 8 GB ram should be 16 GB ram, which is the standard for laptop at this price range. And having a Full HD screen on a laptop is a totally unnecessary and purely ego. Since "When" you start to watch BluRay movies on laptop? If you don't watch BluRay movies at all, what is the point of getting a full HD screen. If you are a casual laptop user and gamer, I personally think 1600*900 (HD+) screen would be a better choice. Full HD is more for "BluRay movie' nerds and programmers. As for gamers, HD+ screen would be less likely to torture mid tier dedicated graphic card, but at the same time still gives you a HD experience in game.

great Full HD i7

for this price, it's amazing to have a 4 core i7 with 1TB harddrive 8g ram. this laptop is quite, low heat, and in real HD screen. believe me guys, u don't want a full HD screen in 11" or 13" notebook, 17" is the best for full hd

Good Specs for the Price

Pros: -Good specs for the cost. -Speakers are best I have heard on a laptop -Good material -Nice design -Lots of ports Cons: -Windows 8 OS -No touchscreen -Begging for a Blu-ray drive Conclusions: Great piece of hardware, but the OS is weak. It isn't the tiles that bother me, but most games and programs don't work well in Windows 8. If you are more then a casual user or plan on playing games It's gonna cause you headaches. I am going to get a OEM copy of Windows 7 tomorrow. Dell has all the drivers on there website to make it work well with Windows 7. Basically this was a machine that was designed for Windows 7 but upgraded to Windows 8 to make it look new and shiny.

Great Lappy

Speakers are solid. Keyboard is very nice. Not too heavy for a 17" computer. Scroll pad very responsive. Very quick computer and can handle multiple apps.

Great Product

This laptop is great for gaming or just for regular daily use. The 2 GB dedicated graphics with the nvidia 650m looks amazing on the full 1080p screen. If you game alot this laptop will get very hot so i reccomend a cooling pad. The skullcandy speakers are very decent considering it is a laptop and provides nice sound. Very quick bootup and fast processing . The only downside that made it 4 stars the the insanely weak battery life so you will always need your charger. It isnt the most beautful laptop either but is good enough for me.
