Went better than expected.

Purchased my first reciever and decided to make it this one. Setup was fairly easy. I'm not sure what concerns were being raised about this unit being light. The weight and dimensions are pretty much what you would expect from any receiver. The sound output is great, easily switching from sources with the many different options. Like any receiver, your going to want to play with the settings, cause the feature to change volume on each individual speaker was very noticable, so you may want to turn that off. The internet radio is also great, espesially if you have Sirius. Not sure why Pandora is included since you can't even use that in Canada. Overall great product, does as advertised and really gets the job done with little effort.

Very Nice

Just upgraded to this from a Yamaha and WOW! The richness of the sound and the true field representation is a treat. Set up was quick, easy and seemed to get most settings dead on. Needed to adjust sub a little but other than that great to go. Haven't tried the networking piece yet but seems easy enough on paper. You will not be disappointed with this great receiver.

Denon AVR-1913

I am a true researcher for all of our toys, vehicles, houses, etc. We had the Harman Kardon AVR254 for four years (after 3 years the warranty ran out) and it developed overheating issues. Not happy! So, we were in the market for a midrange receiver and after doing hours of research, the Denon AVR-1913 fit the bill perfectly. If you don't care about the couple extra gadgets such as, wifi, etc. then go with this receiver and you won't be disappointed.
