We needed a Six slice toaster

I purchased this toaster a few months ago. We have a family of Six people so I hoped that the Large Capacity of this Oven would be useful. It replaced an old Black and Decker toaster oven. The First Issue is the claim that it is a six slice toaster. It is not large enough to fit six regular sandwich sized slices of white bread on the rack. This is a gross misrepresentation by the company. No way can it make six slices of toast unless you get little tiny loaves to make slices from. I found that when I make up to four slices of toast, by the time you get the bread to a blonde color, it is dried out so the finished toast will quickly break into pieces when you apply any topping. I wonder if the heat is too far away from the bread, so the long cycle time needed to color the toast, dries it to excess. The Oven is easy to operate, the children have no problems heating pizza or snacks. The machine looks nice. I would not buy another one of these machines. The fact that they call it a six slice machine is poor customer relations.
