Could be great...

-great battery life -fun and easy to use and intuitive, touch/type combination -issues with mouse pointer disappearing when in laptop mode, however this can be reset by turning into tablet mode and putting it back into laptop mode -freezes on me at least once a day, my biggest complaint. It only seems to happen when I'm multi-tasking in desktop mode, unfortunately, I usually have work related documents open and I lose everything I haven't saved...very frustrating -same problem with the sound occasionally disappearing as previously mentioned. Given that the speakers are on a tablet, I suppose they are alright, however in comparison to any reasonable laptop they are quite poor In conclusion, the freezing grinds my gears to the point that I'd return it if it wasn't too late. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything on the market, that's as versatile of a tablet/pc combo w/ great battery life, so even if I did return it my plan was to wait for something better to come down the pipe. Hopefully my problems can be solved w/ various software updates as the actual hardware seems quite good.

Hp Envy X2 Review

Well I am on my second Envy x2 now due to the first one having a bad sound card. I love this product but there is a few issues that HP needs to get fixed hopefully by updates. 1. Sound card issues still, with sound shutting off, or going to only one speaker. 2. When using the keyboard and typing fast the space bar seems to put in a double space at random times. From what I see on the Hp site both othese problems are happening on all Envy's. Other then that I love it. It has locked up on me a few times but when it runs it runs good. Just need to fix a few of the software issues mentioned above then I would give it a 5 star rating.

Love it.

I love my x2. Having full Win 8 on a slim tablet is great. It's very light in tablet mode but a little heavy in laptop mode. That's justified by the build quality.
