In Canada, these speakers are only available at Future Shop. In the US, they sell for almost twice the price when you factor in the exchange rate. Not sold in-store, so I took the risk of buying without trying when I saw they were on sale. I had no other experience with Klipsch other than having tried the RF-62s & RF-82s in store. I was planning on returning them to my local store if I didn't like them, but I won't be doing that. Not surprisingly, Canada Post banged up the boxes, but both speakers were in immaculate condition in the boxes. Solid & well-built speakers in good packaging. What I don't like: Less sophisticated than Klipsch's other lines; the legs look awkward, the oval bass port looks odd, and the plastic-grey woofers look like cheap fragile toys. Even the "Icon" name sounds cheap. What matters: Sound is crisp & clear, allowing me to discover details my 15-year-old Infinity bookshelves left out. Very easy to drive; loud at only 1/4 the volume level of my 100 W/ch amplifier. The bass surprised me; it isn't window-shattering, and the very low notes are muted, but overall I find it more than adequate for the music I've tried (for testing's sake: from classical to dubstep); I even decided to disconnect and forgo the subwoofer that I was using with my bookshelves. You'll feel the bass in U2's Love is Blindness (or look for misk's Silsila Ye Chahat Ka bootleg remix on soundcloud if you like trap). Good performance & value.

Very pleased with these speakers. Very good sound. Tried Polks many times and always brought them back. These are keepers.

Klipsch tower speakers

Best speakers I have ever owned. Great highs and way better than expected base. Effortless response. I love these speakers?

Great speakers a discount price

Overall I'm really impressed, tho I'm not sure I would have the same outlook if I had paid full price. Good overall sound, but a little thin (tho that might be my receiver, a Yamaha RX-V375, more than the speakers). Good thump....but if your looking to rattle things you'll need a woofer. I have the black wood grain finish. Looks nice, seems fairly durable. Like I said, overall great speaker for value....
