good tablet for the price

My son (13) begged me to buy a tablet for him. Of course, he wanted an IPad. Not a chance, the cheapest one is 550 (at the time of my purchase). So I knew it will be an Android tablet, I just needed to find a good brand with enough cpu power to play games. This Lenovo tablet has basically the same guts as Samsung Galaxy s3, has 2GB of ram, and allows to upgrade the internal memory with a microSD chip. The problem with the screen (bad angle viewing) is a non-issue, since my son always plays games, so he is always looking directly at the screen from a very close distance. I really recommend this for anybody who wants to try out a tablet, Navigation is very smooth and unit feels responsive, there are plenty of apps on google play, free or for a small fee. I actually downloaded Daroon player so I can watch DVD movies, and it works splendidly.

Happy with the tablet.

The tablet is fast, responsive and we really get a ton of use out of it. What others say about the screen is bang on. If you are looking at it form the side you can not see it well but that really isn't an issue for us. A better screen is nothing more than a nice to have. We read books, play games, email, internet. The tablet is great for all of those things. If you plan to watch movies on your tablet with another person then this one may not be for you because of the screen angle issues. But for anything you will do by yourself, the screen probably won't bother you. The price is great for the quality of hardware.

Lenovo IdeaTab

Fast and responsive but lacking in available apps. At the end of screen 5 it doesn't automatically go to screen 1, you have to go back? It is neat the way it keeps programs in memory and they can be accessed quickly.

Good job Lenovo!

A great buy for this price. I use it to annotate my lecture notes in class. The 9" size doesn't give very many decent options for cases but found some online.(2 weeks to receive)

Lenovo ideatab 9"

This was a great purchase fir me my family loved it one tap and I got everything at my fingertip, now they must make phones, and I know they have the best laptop I have one, I know as soon as they have sale I will be buying more. Lenovo all the way bigger, better, stronger. Not changing for nothing else I need everything in my house to be lenovo. Thanks lenovo.
