Not IE11 Compatible!

Bought this so I could better manage the home network, especially the kids. One thing you should know is as soon as the router updates with the latest firmware (defaults to auto while you are setting it up) you can no longer access it using IE11! All access is via a web interface so it confused me at first why I could get it initially setup but then I needed to configure it as a bridge, its my second router. I could never get back into it to change the settings. I even reset it to factory settings a few times. Finally, chatting with Linksys Tech support they admitted it has issues with IE11 and I should download Chrome to finish the install. Not impressed, I wasted a lot of time on it. Once up and running it appears to work as advertised. Range is good and it feels faster. Nice to see the various devices on the network so I can set up access and times for them individually.

Excellent N900 Router

Bought this router to replace my old Linksys WRT54GSv2 mainly to take advantage of wireless-N and gigabit Lan ports which now allow me to stream seemlessly via my Western Digital MyBookLive and have doubled my download speed on my gaming computer connected router via D-Link powerline AV500. It took all of 30 minutes to setup all my devices on my local network using the supplied easy setup DVD. Saw big improvement in internet speed on all wireless devices ( 1 iphone 5, 4 android phones, 1 Asus Transformer tablet, 2 x wireless HD TV's, and and 1 PS3). No problems with signal quality and Netflix streams solidly to all devices using it. House size is 5000 sq ft with devices scattered on all levels.. I also signed up for Cisco's Smart Wi-Fi to be able to manage router remotely via the cloud. This app is intuitive and easy to use. I also installed the mobile version which works just as well, offering the same features. Decided not to go with a router offering 801.11ac due to the higher price, standard is still in daft form, and none of my current devices support it anyway. I am very impressed with the performance of this router and would definitely recommend it.
