Easy set up but disconnects often

Was very easy to set up and add to my LTE mobile hot spot, however I have been having a lot of disconnections with my Mycloud drive. And so far I have not been able to get my security camera system to work over the internet connection but it works on the local network. Maybe I will get the bugs worked out?

I have two of these performing flawlessly

I have a fiber internet connection which terminates in my garage, and my Wi-Fi router is plugged into it, i.e. there is no wired network in my home. I have one of these bridges in my office connected to a 16-port switch with my personal PC, two work PC's, 2 network printers and several other work-related ancillary networked devices (all with static IP addresses). It's been up and running rock-solid for 2 weeks now. The second one is in my home theatre connected to my PC, my Blu-ray player and my WDTV Live. It handles HD streaming, i.e. Netflix, etc., without a hiccup. Highly recommended.

Dropped Signals No Problem

I bought 2 of these, but had problems with both dropping signals after 30-45 minutes. It took awhile to figure problems now. All ya have to do to cure the dropped signal problem is set the unit to a static IP address under manual wireless configuration. Both units work lie a charm now.

Such a charm.

If you are having headaches about how to make your wired electronics online , get this . It works for anything you can connect the Network cable to. But of course, you don't need this for laptops , since most of the laptops have wireless adapter. I have done too many setups for commercial jobs with this. Works great so far. Enjoy it

works great for me.

I was using an internal intenet connection in my pc which constantly dropped the signal as I am far away from the router. I plugged this one in and and get super fast wireless speed, a good connection signal and never have any dropped signals. It was worth the investment for me.

Works good

I used this in my other room to link. My Xbox 360 and ps3. With out this I was 5mb. Now with n to my new bell router I get my full 16mb download with bell fibre. Easy to install and is very good at detecting wireless. I configured it manually then using wps or auto. Solid connection. Excellent product.

Waste of money

Although the tech support people at Cisco were quite helpful in helping me figure out that the first unit was broken, even the 2nd unit was no good, as it would work for anywhere between 20 minutes and 5 hours and then I'd have to reset it because the connection was lost to my media devices. I thought it might be just my router, but if you look on the Cisco support forums, there are plenty claiming the same things, including people with Cisco routers. This device should not have made it past the testing phase and is not ready for mass-consumption.
