Excellent Computer Speakers

Ive had these for probably for a year and a half. I use them for gaming, as well as a variety of music genres, quite loud at times. The only negative I can really say about them it that I sometimes hear static/noise while adjusting the volume. A very minor flaw in an otherwise excellent sound system.

I bought these refurbished and they work great. Surprisingly loud and clear, until you get close to max volume. The subwoofer performs decently. Put it on the ground with the hole facing a wall, or in a corner and it will sound a bit better.. 4 stars only cause you cant turn the sub off

So happy

Before I bought it, I really hesitated because the special price was only $[...]. Finally I decided to take a chance. You don't try, you don't know. And then I just found it is great! great! great!

Happy as a clam

Snagged these on sale after my almost 15 year old JBL Audio speakers died. Was just looking for a reasonably basic set and as far as I'm concerned these are more than adequate. The sub is great for the low-end and at reasonably high volume everything stays crisp without any static. Would have been satisfied at full price, even happier with the sale. Recommended.

Not bad for the price

I remember running this set of speakers years back- the design of the set was good, it sounded awesome, for what they ask in $$ its worth the price... so why rate it lower? the design of the chord. Now, computer speakers have short audio chords that wear at the tip and affect the sound over time, causing you to replace them with another set, which is fine, thats life, yet the design of this chord is a strange one.... its super long and thats awesome if you need the reach for whatever reason.... yet its awkward and long, I have actually noticed that this set would wear out faster then your average computer speakers... thats the only real flaw. The bass is decent enough for what one pays, I recently just copped a more expensive logitech set up with better fancier speakers, tighter set up and better design, but you know what? this set up is cheaper and it sounds better then the other set I bought. If you can find a way to be careful with the awkward long chord, it will be an investment that will make you happy.
