I believe everyone that love reggae&jazz&hip-hop&rock music will be fall in love with this little earbud. If you want buy a headphones that not cost hundreds bucks and---listen for hours during an across-pacific flight but not feel itchy in your ears, this is the one you don't want see your neighbor take away before you reach your wallet!!!!

They're cool

I bought these earbuds since the Apple ones that come with the iPod/iPhone start to really hurt my ears after an hour or longer for long trips and such. They looked pretty cool, and I really liked the fabric cord. It seemed very durable. Also the attached volume control/skip buttons on the cord were cool. After wearing them for an hour or so though, i found they started to hurt my ears. I tried all 3 different sizes of the pieces that goes into your ears that they came with, and preferred the smallest one. But even after a while they still became uncomfortable. I ended up returning them for the Klipsch S4, which were double the price, and found them to be way more comfortable. But if these are comfortable for your ears. I would recommend them.

Good earbuds

I bought these earbuds after my last cheap ones died. I use them almost everyday in a noisy shop environment and love them. For me they cancel out most noise and usually have to hit pause button so I can hear people when they talk to me. I have also used them on a flight 3 hours long from Edmonton to Vegas and back. Both times I was at the window seat right in front of engine. I had no problem with outside noises and could still listen to the T.V at a normal level. The woven cord is really nice in that it barely becomes tangled in my shirt pocket. Also nice is the pouch for them if you have a ipod nano. It fits in there as well. The also fit my ears very well and feel very light and not bothersome if worn for extended periods of time. I would highly recommend this product.

Great in concept, but disappointing

I was excited to find this reasonably-priced, eco-friendly, noise-isolating headset when browsing at my local Future Shop. When I got it home, I was disappointed on several points. The sound quality is mediocre at best. The sound-isolating earpieces are less comfortable, secure, and effective than other brands. The fabric cord rubs on clothing and creates a sound that reverberates through the earphones. The microphone and buttons are located too far down the cord, far away from the user's mouth. In short, I expect more for this price. I bought these to replace a Bose MIE2 headset that I broke, and I'll be going back to that model. If sound isolation is important to you, try Shure, which delivers excellent sound quality. I haven't tried the more expensive Marley headphones with the larger driver. They might be worth a shot. I'll give these 3 stars instead of 2 because they are very aesthetically pleasing and have a small ecological footprint, and I'll hang on to them for when I need sound isolation more than sound quality - podcasts on a long plane ride, perhaps.
