OK headphones

In my piece there was a hisss noise in the background. Built quality is solid. But makes the ears so hot within 5 min.

Quality Headphones

I purchased these in part because of the reviews and in part because of the looks. The build quality seems excellent and having a replaceable cable is great so you don't have to replace the entire unit if the cord or plug breaks. Sounds is also quite good. My last headphones were Grado SR 80i and these are definitely in the same range of quality for sound and I'd say the build quality and materials used are much better (far less plastic on the Marleys). The fit can be a bit tight if used for a long time, but for my 30 minute commute they are comfortable. Overall I would recommend these for the price.

great sound, horrible comfort

These sound great, but are very uncomfortable. Since they fight so tight and snug, it effectively isolates outside sound and creates great sound, but it also pinches the head and ears. they are unbearable if you wear glasses. overall, I would not recommend these because although they sound great, the uncomfortable fit factor does not allow you to enjoy the sound. i also don't think i have an over-sized head or anything like that.

I really like my new Marley Stir It Up headphones. Not just for their good looking and build quality, but most important, for their sound. To me their sound are as good as other high-end headphones such as Sennehiser HD650 and Grado RS1 (sound more like Grado to me), only difference is Stir It Up don't need a headphone amplifier, but other high-end headphones usually require one in order to show their full potential, which makes them not as portable as Stir It Up. FYI, my Stir It Up is driven by my Sony MP3 player with albums downloaded from iMesh ToGo subscription. Many people have agreed bass is the best part of Stir It Up, but indeed their mid and treble are quite impressive as well. They sound so good and so real that they can make you close your eyes and tap your toes. Just few things I want to bring them up: 1. Like other high-end speakers and headphones, brand new Stir It Up headphones require a proper break-in period to settle down the sound and to achieve their full potential. Mine took 10 days' usage. 2. The headbands are too tight for adults. I almost wanted to return them when I first got them. But I was able to fix the problem by bending both sides slowly, although I think I heard a small crack sound before I stopped, but problem solved. Now they still feel comfortable after hours wearing.

i got these during Christmas, and all i can say is that it is amazing. the box was easy to open, unlike some headphones where you have to tear apart the packaging with a pair of scissors. these came in an actual box. anyways, as soon as i put them on, i did notice some slight discomfort because the pressure was too much. I listened to some music with them and the sound was pretty darn good. the bass isn't overbearing and doesn't overlap the mid and highs. however, turned up at full volume, the treble was too much, it hurt my ears. this can be solved by turning the treble down in eq settings. i was considering the solo beats, but everything is identical, and the marleys have better sound, better noise isolation, lower leakage, and much much better build quality. so, overall, these are amazing for a casual listener, but if you are going to use these for more than 2 hours, maybe not because these do get uncomfortable later.

Okay these headphones are worth it ! They are build strong, produce awesome sound, and look really cool too. The wooden finish at each side of the ear cups make it look really cool. Also, the sound is amazing, can even be used as speakers. WORTH THE MONEY

have had these for a couple of weeks and must say they are designed well. the look is unique and am very happy that they use materials that are environmently friendly down to the packaging. very light weight and comfortable on the ear, sound is way above par. like the single headset wiring with volume and play control. The wire also unplugs from the headset for convenience. Comes with case cover to protect the headset. would recommend this to anyone.

Sweet Phones

just bought these things.... built like a tank and very comfortable to wear. I really like the nylon cord that does a great job of staying un-tangled, and also adds a little bit of a unique flair to the look of the phones. I love marley, and i thought that these might just be a bit of a cash grab while leveraging his big name, but these things deliver. i've listened to everything from marley himself, to house, to metal... while adjusting my ipod EQ, you can get the sound you are looking for. Wait, these are $100 bucks off right now?!? See ya DRE.

Great Sound

These were on sale for $99 normally $199, amazing sound. Clear highs and pounding bass make these headphones a steal for the price. Tested some of the Dr Dre headphones as well, they were awesome but way to expensive. Even at full price these headphones are definitely worth the buy, plus they look awesome too.

Be Aware

Headphones sounded good, and were nicely built. If you have a large head, or large ears I would see about trying them out before ordering. Have the latter issue and couldn't get a good seal. The cord also transmits a good amount of noise, especially above the in-line control.

Good Product Small Package

I have a pair of DT 770 PROs which are excellent in quality, however they are huge and very difficult to ware around school without getting some weird looks. These sound ALMOST as good, but come in a smaller package and this makes them ideal for traveling (Ipod, Laptop, Etc). Quality is very balanced sound, bass is not intrusive, slightly light which is a good change from the artificial bass from Dre headphones. Excellent balance, even the cord is EMI sheilded, which makes these a top notch pair for laptop usage. Love them. Recommend them.

Great product, great purchase.

Definitely a good pair of headphone. I picked it up recently on sale and I have got to say, they were above my expectations. The sound quality is great and the crisp. There really isn't much to say about these awesome headphones. Try 'em on and decide. Also, the actual product is much better looking than the pictures! =) The picture does however show the headphones at a good angle. Overall, great product and also good build.

Holy crap AMAZING!

Probably the best headphones i have ever had in my life and i usually use Bose so thats saying something haha. They have amazing playback ZERO static or quality loss at high volume. They are super comortable on the ears and i wear glasses absolutely no difference or pain even after hours of wearing them. there is a reason the best reggea musician has his name on them because they are the best no question. ONE LOVE! reppin Bob!

Highs roll off

These cans are very well made for the sale price and come in eco-friendly packaging. I find the sound quality to be adequate, but the highs roll off. Ended up buying an equalizer app for my iPhone in order to restore them.

The Headphones themselves are built vary durably and contain some of the nicest materials I have ever seen for headphones. Even the packaging they come in is very esthetically pleasing and feels good to purchase of high caliber. Make no mistake, these are AWESOME headphones for the price. If they ever go on sale - grab them they are worth every penny. They also, carry a 2 year warranty and the control mic for calls, songs so that's an additional wonderful bonus. All in all, have owned headphones from 20 dollars all the way to 350 and can say without a doubt, these are definitely in my top 3!

If your thinking about getting these headphones, stop thinking, just get them. They're worth the price! At first, these headphones felt a little uncomfortable on my ears, however, after the second day of wearing em around the house i barely even noticed they were there. The sound these headphones provide is really great. The sound quality is even better with music genres such as dub-step, electro-house, R&b, reggae and etc. Highly recommended!
