I thought shooter's weren't my cup of tea, but when I played the Halo series I got addicted. Even got SH addicted. Excellent game.

Best Reason to own an XB 1

This game alone I believe will validate my purchase of the XB 1 (of course there are many other great games as well - but this is the flagship game for the console!!!)

One of the only AAA FPS games left with a campaign that tells a story.

Halo Kicks Rear End!

I will say that every Halo game(Even Halo Wars which was not an FPS)has grabbed me right from the beginning and it doesn't let go until the massive battle that is the final levels in any Halo game! I don't think the 69.99 price is correct at all. First they are slowly trying to get us gamers used to paying an additional almost 20 dollars when you add the taxes to the price, that is just wrong. Secondly, it is not official but I'm pretty sure this year's Halo game will be Halo 2 Anniversary edition, or some similar name for it. They just launched Halo 4 back in 2012 right? Well I certainly do not want to play ANY Halo game that could be developed in 2 years. Especially because it's supposed to be Next gen only, and to put out the next chapter of Halo only on the Xbone that very few of us have yet, would be quite a slap to their long time fans. Only because you can't expect a mass adoption of the new console in under a year. I think Halo 2 the remastered version, lol. But it will hopefully be for both the Xbox's, I cannot wait I will get the XB1 version because I want to build my library.
