What do you get when you pair one of the world's best producers and rappers with a leader in high-end audio solutions? Beats, that's what. Built from the highest quality components and precision-engineered by Beats in collaboration with Dr. Dre himself, these reference headphones deliver top-tier audio performance that makes everything else sound tinny and dull by comparison.

More Information

When it comes to listening to your music through headphones, there's what you hear and what you're supposed to hear. Odds are you're not hearing it all. Most headphones have a very limited frequency range which cancels or dampens most of what you should hear, effectively diminishing the impact and experience of everything you listen to. That's all about to change. Developed by the perfectionistas at Beats Audio and Dr. Dre, Beats deliver the audio you?re supposed to hear.

Here's what DRE has to say:
"People aren't hearing all the music. Artists and producers work hard in the studio, perfecting their sound. But people can't really hear it with normal headphones. Most headphones can't handle the bass, the detail, the dynamics. Bottom line: the music doesn't move you. With Beats, people are going to hear what the artists hear and listen to the music the way they should: the way I do."

From their advanced speaker design and powered isolation technology to their subtle, slick aesthetic, they produce that high definition listening experience you thought couldn't be achieved by headphones. Rock, hip-hop, classical - you name it; Beats drive deep punchy lows, balance the mids, and produce the crystal clear highs as you'd hear them in a post production studio laden with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of audio equipment with gold-plated knobs and records on the wall to match.

But it's not just about sound. Spaciously designed ear cups provide extra room for more comfort and better listening, and their plush, breathable cushions reduce perspiration. An integrated mute button lets you turn off the tunes to hear what's going on around you without taking the headphones off, and the Monster iSoniTalk cable with a built-in answer button and mic lets you stop the music and answer calls on your iPhone, Blackberry, or music phone.

A tough touring case keeps the headphones safe on the go, so you don't have to worry about the minor bumps of day-to-day life. A Monster Clean Cloth with Aegis Microbe Shield lets you wipe down the headphones. The 1/8" to 1/4" adapter with gold contacts ensures it's compatible with most music players and delivers the best signal transmission possible. And it comes ready-to-go right out of the box with two AAA batteries.

Great headphones, but.... MOST HONEST REVIEW

I bought these beats on Boxing day, and when I first opened them, it was like opening a box of Jordans. The smell, the white leather, the white 'b', and the amazing green finish became too much to take in. As I started listening to them, it sounded really good, and I thought that this was the headphones that I would stay with forever, or so I thought. After constant use, I found some things. People always complained about the batteries constantly being replaced, or the noise cancelling creating a hiss. To be honest, I did not really find any of that. I mean lets just begin by saying that if you are going to get noise cancelling headphones of any sort, you're going to be paying for batteries eventually! Anyways, after some use, I found two problems. One, the noise cancelling was absolutely garbage. It really looked like Dr. Dre went to a dollar store to get the noise cancelling technology. It blocked at most, 20 %, and that's at like 80% volume. In other words, just imagine your ears right now, and then imagine not hearing the air conditioner, that's how much sound it cancels out. Walking on the street, I could hear every car that passed me which was annoying. Another thing I didn't enjoy was the sound. Now don't get me wrong, they do a superior job at bass, mids, and lows, but unless you're planning to listen to dubstep and hip hip exclusively, this headphones is not for you. I found that when I listening to songs such as diamonds, whenever the 's' in sky would come up, it would produce a snare, which would be uncomfortable, and at high volumes, even hurt your ear. It became annoying for some time. Also, other cons you should note are that in a quiet work space, these leak a lot, even at comfortable volumes. One thing I found amazing was the look, I mean the white b with that white leather, it feels really high quality and that is why I am almost feeling bad for returning them. As of now, I'm looking at either getting the beats executives, or the bose qc 15, which I recommend for you to look at as well before buying these. As much as I hate to say it, you are paying for the name.

GREAT BUT...

i find these headphones great! you are certainly paying for looks and quality but after some use i found that these headphones start to make noise (not the sound , but the outer shell body) i highly recommend that you buy the future shop warranty as it is easy to exchange, because now i have to send it off to monster.

Honest Review

First off, these headphones are overpriced. That is the only negative that would ever keep me from purchasing these, they meet their value for a user who enjoys music with heavy bass such as electronic or hip-hop. There is no doubt you are paying for looks , though realistically most people who are looking at Beats would not want an alternative simply from looks such as the Bose QC 15. These headphones are sleek and stylish, but in the overall price you pay for it. The overall build quality is what you'd expect from a 350$ pair of headphones. The sound quality is crystal clear but the bass does overpower the overall sound but for many people this is a positive such as myself, because I enjoy lots of bass. The pause button is conveniently located on the ear-cup so you can join a conversation easily with a simply push of the Beats logo. Replacing batteries gets annoying but it is not a problem as they last about 10 days with approx 60 mins of use daily. I would recommend these headphones to anyone seeking style, sound quality and is a fan of electronic and hip hop music.
