l love the ZOOM

l am hard on cameras so l didn't want to pay a lot for it. l take hundreds of photos daily. l specifically wanted more zoom and l got it. l am still playing with the settings for best results but my photos are clear and my deer and birds are up close. My cardinals are truly red, Red being a difficult colour to capture. The cat setting freaked me out slightly until l realized the camera wasn't possessed. l take the photos for a cat shelter and the cat setting has caught pictures l wouldn't have got. Black has been and still is an issue for digital cameras. The final test for me with this camera will be the macro settings and the pictures of insects l will start taking soon (l hope). So far it has fulfilled my expectations.

You get what you pay for, as the saying goes.

I had this camera for only a few hours before returning it. Loved all the bells & whistles but... then I decided to test it. Each picture appeared rather hazy and poorly defined. Colours were far from precise and fine details were missing. Did I expect too much from a budget camera? Perhaps. Then for comparison I used my Samsung Focus and took similar shots side by side of exactly the same thing. It was no contest. My phone totally put this camera to shame. It's a pity because I was really rooting for it. If you are not to fussy about great pictures, then by all means buy one and see what I'm talking about.

olympus16MP 21X zoom digital camera

Being a novice photographer, I found the Olympus a very easy camera to operate. The pictures are crisp and clear and the menu is very easy to follow. Not knowing what to expect from my camera, I was amazed at how quickly I could take great pictures. This is my first digital camera and I am very pleased with it's performance.

the capacity of this camera exceeds my abilities,It does all I want and more.I would recomend it to any one who is just getting into pictures or someone who wants a good camera thats easy to use and a good brand name.

Great camera

This camera was on sale during the boxing week so I went to the store to check it out. The reviews were not that great but I still took the risk.....After, I figured out the menu and the settings everything has been great. The size and the weight are just right. I enjoyed taking pictures with this camera. It is simply GREAT!
