Great game

Games like this are rare. Loved the first one. Love this one. Creative, unique. Makes you use your brain. It's not so hard it will frustrate you yet it's challenging enough to make you feel good when you figure out the puzzle. Very refreshing from the typical shooter games. Highly recommend this to anyone. You're really missing out not playing this at some point. Can't give this game anything less than a 5.

Smart and Challenging

This is a great sequel to the original. If you take the time to enjoy brilliant commentary and the amazing visuals the single player is a brilliant combination of challenge and wit. The game could be longer and a bit more challenging, but as a whole it is a great follow-up to the original. The multiplayer side adds a new element and is just as much fun as the single player. I have played most of the way through with my 7 year old son, and because of the lack of a fixed timeline, we are able to take our time solving the puzzles and have managed to make it most of the way through (with the evil computer mocking us the entire time). Valve needs to just keep pumping these out, and we will continue to buy them. The PS3 version is brilliant, since it also gives you a free PC copy. -Great game for any level of gamer.

Portal 2 is an amazing experience. It has one of the best story's ever told in games (and I didn't play the first one), it's got amazing voice acting (Stephen Merchant steals the show), and its innovative game play style is one to be venerated. The visual's on the game are good, even though you never really see anything that will blow your mind. The puzzles and challenging yet easy enough for anyone to complete. But the real reason to play this game is for the story and acting. Portal 2 is funny, charming, and exciting. If you've never played it, get it! This is definitely a game of the year candidate!

Portal 2 will no doubt win the "Best Game of the Year". An absolute must buy by everyone. The PS3 version comes with a free copy of the Mac/PC version via Steam. Valve has also announced that there will be additional content (aka DLC) available as a free download this summer.
