I purchased this extention cord for my brother who is in a nursing home and has a room mate. This cord gives him flexablity as to time when he can watch TV using his ear phones and cord.

Works well

I am not an audio purist, I just want to be able to hear the sound of a video clearly. The extension cord met my needs well.

The coiled cord is what originally sold me on this product. Unfortunately, the sub-par quality of the actual jack connections make it virtually unusable. Disappointing --- Don't buy these.

I've bought this extension cord and I've noticed that there is audio quality loss. I tested with my MONSTER Turbine ear buds. The quality loss is not a lot with this setup but it is noticeable when carefully compared. I also tried it out with a full sized headphones, the SONY MDR-XD200. Probably because of the additional cord length of this one, the quality loss is unacceptable. The audio "tears" at some point. You can also hear something like "interference noise" when you twist the connector plug.
