Good but

Just got this. Put the Remotes on charge with their protective sleeves on. Starting charging the remotes right away. straps weren't even in the way. Easy for the kids to put these on charge. My only issue is that the remotes get quite warm with the silicon sleeve on when they are charging. Other than that these are awesome. I will be getting two more for my brothers for xmas.

No good so far

A futureshop employee recommended this unit once in a store, but there were no stock. So, after purchasing this item online, I was keen to get it. Once it arrived 4 days later, I plugged it in and charged the 2 batteries in my Wii remotes. The following weekend I went to use the Wii and discovered one remote was low on charge, so I placed it back on the induction charger, but it wouldn't charge (a red light indicates it is charging, a green indicates it is fully charged - but this battery showed neither status). I had a dead battery. Disappointed, I returned the unit to a store and, as they didn't have stock, got a refund. I then ordered another one online. The second unit arrived today, so I went to charge the 2 batteries and this time neither one will charge. I really want an induction unit, but it looks like I may have to look elsewhere, as this brand isn't living up to expectations.

Great charger, just one caution

This is a great wii induction charger! It works perfectly, and you just need to place it near the center and you get great charging. Just one word of caution. While it has no problem charging normal sized remotes (with or without jacket) whether they are the wii motion plus or the normal ones, it might have an issue if you are using the little wii motion plus attachment. For some reason, the extra length makes it difficult to detect and charge the battery fully, unless you place it exactly right (I think the strap placement might interfere with the charging). If you don't have that problem, this charger is amazing! I'd avoid longer remotes anyways because they are difficult to use sideways.
