Impressions with Rocketfish Wireless Sender Recei

The setup of the first senderreceiver pair went easily. The only bit of a challenge, which I found kind of humorous, was to turn the hub into the pairing mode, and then within 30 seconds quickly* get to the other device, press the button and turn it, too, into the pairing mode so they would connect *do not get hurt running to the other roomfloor I understand a third senderreceiver would not require to beat the 30 second timeout because the first pair of devices the hub, actually gets the audio network running. The sound quality is very good. No signal noise or distortion was audible at normally loud volume levels. I intend soon to try all-room-shaking volumes, and hope not to hear any uncomfortable signal noisedistortion that could be reasonably suspected as coming from the wireless connection. The frequency response and line out signal level, judged ad-hoc by the ear, is the same as through a wired connection.I testedlistened to the Rocketfish wireless connection going for several hours between two points at about 14m 46ft distance through a wooden thick floor, and a wooden wall, some metal ventilation ducts on the way, and an 802.11g wireless router at about 1m 3ft away from the Rocketfish hub acting as sender, and on the other end the Rocketfish receiver next to my audio receiver and TV. Although at a couple of initial testing moments there was a signal drop or two silence for a tiny fraction of a second, all has become fine after I adjusted the antennae on the senderreceiver to form a mild V shape angle rather than the straight-up recommended in the manufacturer's instructions. Perhaps that signal drop was a coincidence because I am not sure if somebody at my home may have used the microwave oven or other device and may have caused these couple of signal drops the coming days of testing will show. I also let the senderreceiver pair play music continuously for over 24 hours, and there was no sign of warmth not to mention heat onaround the devices or any unwanted effect on the connected equipment. My teenage children also expressed much liking for this technology.I intend to get the third senderreceiver and should be able to get the music flowing among three points I like this technology very much so far, but will be testing it for another few weeks, and hopefully not return it to the store. Now I can play the same or different music with excellent sound quality throughout the house, which should be great say at parties where the same music synchronized will help eliminate cacophony between the rooms, due to different music from the rooms and also everyone dances to the same beat - and I can send music from my computer throughout the house while using the mixingarranging capabilities of different software, which can be far superior than those of hardware appliance type DVDCD players.I am giving this product 4 out of 5 stars arrows only because I am not done with all the testing.
