Works well with my XP

Almost perfect but I replaced the first one cause it had a dead pixel the second day after my purchase. Maybe I am too sensitive.

SyncMaster S27B370

I bought three of these monitors for my office. I wasn't sure how I would like a 27" monitor but I must say after almost three months of use I, and my two staff, would never go back to a smaller monitor. The monitor is clear and far exceeds our expectations. Check to make sure that your desktop computer has an HDMI input. You will need to purchase an HDMI cord to hook-up the monitor to your computer and to get the best picture quality the monitor is capable of providing. The monitor comes with a VGA cord but that isn't going to give you the best picture this monitor is capable of providing.

2 defective monitors

Bought first one Dec 26 online. 3 days later the screen would turn on for a brief second then shut off. Had to turn off then back on again and the same thing would happen. So I exchanged for a new one at FS without a problem. Just over a month and half in an 1 have a 1cm x 1cm square on the screen that stays lit as a slightly grey block. Hope I can exchange or return again. Otherwise, very sharp and cool looking monitor.

Very nice monitor but shiny!!

First thing about this monitor; it is dang bright! Not a bad thing overall, just be prepared for the overpowering lumens of this thing. Crisp edge to edge and capable of 1920 x 1080, well worth the money for the shear size of it. It will say though that I have one issue (aesthetic) with this monitor...the bezel and base are REALLY SHINY! If you don't like watching dust gather instantly on the base, skip this guy. The touch buttons on the bezel for setup are nicely responsive. The other issue I have is with the bundled software. It's kludgy and already in need of updates. Skip installing, if you have a fairly robust vid card, as it will likely just recognize the new hardware and display without any bumps. I noticed some reviewers had problems with installation...my hookup was problem free on my GeForce GTX750 on Win 7 64bit rig. Overall, not having been a fan of Samsung monitors in the past, this one has made me a believer.

Really nice screen

I replaced a 22" monitor with this one, and I must say that it exceeds my expectations. Great colour, very crisp picture. I like to fly FSX, and it is stunning for this sim. Initially, it would not synch up with my GTX460 video card at 1080 resolution, but after upgrading my HDMI cable, that problem went away.
