Great picture

Bought this TV as we wanted a 60" LED. Best value out there. You don't need a smart TV, just get a WD, Boxee, Apple TV or a similar box. Pros: Great picture quality. 1080p is like whoa! Not too heavy price Cons: The stand and remote seem cheap. Little tricky mouting on wall. Vesa screws may not be long enough.

Buy Something Else

I bought this TV on boxing day. Two months later it turns itself on and off rapidly. Contacted sharp to fix it their contracted repairman has been here twice and replaced the main board and T control. What a disappointment in this purchase. Buy another brand

My Review of the Sharp LC60LE600U LED 1080P TV

I purchased this LED TV without reading any review, as the price was sweet and I thought to myself that I can't go wrong with an LED TV and boy was I wrong! The picture is not clean at all! Watching this TV in the dark is a nightmare as you will see white glowy patches all over the screen which destroys the ability of this TV to produce any decent black levels. The ghosting on TV is too much, its like going back in time, and watching TV on the first LCD monitor with 30ms. The menu has limited controls for colour correction, so its almost impossible to get a decent likable picture. I would say these TVs would be good in a highly lit sports bar, but look elsewhere if you're looking for a TV to enjoy movies at home with.

Sharp Aquos

This TV is a disappointment. Although the picture is beautiful, our unit developed problems after just four months. There are problems with the lighting in an area on the bottom left of the screen. It looks like there are two beams of a flashlight shining along it. I would not buy a Sharp product again. We only did because at one time we were told that Sharp was a very good product.

Great picture, great price

I purchased this TV on boxing week and it was a great deal. For a 60" it was a great value. Like most TVs it was too bright out of the box, but this applies to all sets. Do yourself a favour and buy a calibration DVD. The image quality is fabulous. From BluRay to PS3 to HDTV. I do have one disappointment. I have a remote that can operate anything, but this TV does not have discrete input controls for all inputs. This means when you switch from one TV input to another you need to click on the input button, scroll through the input choices and then hit enter. Even with the universal remote it takes 5 to 8 seconds to complete the task because of how Sharp designed the commands. Had Sharp included discrete input controls it would have taken one second to switch to the correct input. Sharp told me that all newer Sharp Smart TVs have discrete input controls, this model does not.
