Frequently disconnects

You get what you pay for. For the first two weeks this router was working fine. Then every day it started to disconnect. I had to reboot this router everyday for it to work properly. It was already using the latest firmware available so I could not upgrade the firmware to a newer version. Spend some money and get yourself a decent router. Don't waste your time on this.

I am well satisfied with this router

My first router. I'm a luddite, I lag 10 years behind technology. This device is working well, for me. It never dropped a connection yet, but granted, my computers are all within a meter of the device. (The router is a convenience for me more than a necessity.) I don't know how it would look if it worked better or worse. One computer got freezing up all the time when copying or using files from another computer's hard drive, but other computers "hooked" on this wireless router never even caughed. The printer was 2 metres away, and it timed out when trying to hook up to the router. So distance may be a problem for other users. Speed? How would I know? I don't play games (computer games). For file sharing it's more than satisfactory. Hooking up was easy. I plugged it in and it went. In fact, the help files and tutorial (which I used as I did not know what I had been up against) were overkill. You literally hook up the cables (2 of them), one to the modem, if you got internet, and one to a computer; and hook up the power supply, in any order, and it works in a minute's wait time. I give it a five-star coz I don't know better. Again, in short: short range, I found no problems; long range, >2.5 m, problem; speed, unknown, good enough for me.

Could be better

Easy installation. It was dropping connection so often for one of our laptops that we had to return it and get a different device. It worked reasonably for the other devices (2 laptops, 2 cell phones, 1 tablet), although still dropping connection a lot more often than previous wireless router.
