After years of trying various routers and range extenders to get a good signal in my garage office, I can finally claim success! Who would have thought a gadget [at this price] worked better than any of the high priced gizmos on the market. Just make sure to run it through TP-Links utility. It won't run through Window's wireless utility.

Powerful and stable

I bought this for my wife's Lenovo notebook after its internal WiFi card died. One of the problems with the original card was that it would lock the system whenever we used the microwave oven near it. This new TP Link unit does pause while the microwave is running, but reconnects immediately after it finishes. Moreover, it sees way more wireless networks than we ever new were running in our neighbourhood - definitely much more powerful than the old on-board card. Setup is a breeze with the included CD utility.

very powerfull

I read a lot before buying this product and used several different products. I used that to get better signals when I am using my laptop. It is a high-gain adapter that's why it has very good performance when it is compared with the other products.

Works as expected

I ended up with the TL-WN7200ND because I was searching for a wireless adaptor compatible with an embedded Linux system. Unfortunately the system only supported wireless devices with the RT3070 chipset. I did a quick search on the Internet and the TL-WN727N and TL-WN7200ND both showed up as using similar chipsets. Unfortunately the TL-WN727N was sold out so I went with the more expensive TL-WN7200ND. The TL-WN7200ND works as expected and I'm guessing the larger antenna helps with reception but I haven't ran into any of those problems because I'm operating it only a couple of meters from the wireless access point.
