I have had this computer for 3 months now and am quite impressed. Runs games like it is nobody's business and is extremely fast for web browsing, running multiple programs, etc. My only complaint is there was a slight issue with the wireless connectivity dropping on occasion for no apparent reason. Besides that it is a great laptop, love the metal finish, makes it look like an ultra book, and it has a killer battery life. Highly Recommend!
Has a good screen compared to other 15.6" laptops. The touch pad is surprisingly good with some neat gesture features such as scrolling up and down web pages like a smart phone. It can play games quite well. It can max out dota 2 and play smoothly. BF3 runs well on medium setting as well as sc2. The keyboard is good but the small enter and right shift key can be annoying at times. Battery life when playing a game like bf3 is short (2 hours), on the other hand browsing the web and doing light tasks can get you 6-7 hours on "balanced" mode.
Honestly, this is the best value you can get with amazing quality and value. Very fast and the NVIDIA GT 630M is incredible, runs most games flawlessly on high settings. Surprised by the battery life also, solid 6 hours on decent power settings.
Having the dual video card setup is great for power efficiency and the operating system works great at figuring out which one to run. I've run this unit on both Windows 7 and 8 and it runs smoothly on both. The USB3.0 was a huge plus too.
I returned the Asus K55A for this laptop. The Asus model was all plastic and had cheap build quality, including the keyboard and glide pad. The Lenova was such a great choice. Excellent hardware - and extra 2gb and an nvidia graphics card for the same price as the Asus model. So happy with my choice. The Lenova has solid build quality, very attractive brushed aluminum design, and the keyboard and glide pad are spot on. You can feel the quality of this laptop! Highly recommended.
