Best Wireless mouse I have owned.

The size I thought was too small but after a few minutes it really became more comfortable the more I used it, Its light weight combined with grip makes it a breeze to navigate across two 24 inch monitors. I had to play with some of the fine tuning to make it accelerate to my liking with the 2 monitors. One factor that I have seen in other reviews is that the mouse is not accurate, well I can see that being only true if your a long way away from the computer or you have the receiver in the back up against a metal desk. Move it to the front of the pc or get a usb extension cable and it works amazingly. I give it 5 Starts because the extra buttons I can customise to my personal preferences and all I need now is a mouse and barely have to touch the kb when doing cut and pastes while editing documents. The side to side scrolling is awesome in spreadsheets btw. Works with all my computers from Windows PC's to my Ubuntu Laptop's (yes I have a lot of them).

Crappy Mouse

This is the worst mouse ever. Very low in precision. I don't recommend anyone to buy this.

Great Mouse When Used Properly

This mouse is fantastic. The receiver is so thin it's almost non-existent so even for those of you with a laptop, you can leave it in a USB port and forget about it. This mouse also feels very comfortable on the hand, and each button press is soft and quiet. It also comes with built in/on disk software so you can customize each and every button to do almost any function you want. This is especially helpful with the side button. The BlueTrack performs exceptionally well. Some people say that it is jumpy and inconsistent, and it is, if you are using this mouse directly on wood I have found. If you use this mouse on a mouse-pad (or even the cover of a big book) the jumpiness and inconsistency vanish. I can't comment on the battery life (i.e. if it does last 10 months like it suggests) because I have only been using it 2 weeks, but it does only take 1 AA battery and comes with a Duracell. In summary, use this mouse with a mouse-pad, and you will absolutely love it.

The best wireless laptop mouse!

Before this mouse, I bought a Logitech m705, oh boy what a disaster. The precision is so awful that I have to focus to click on a link. Eventually I returned it back. I checked the reviews about Microsoft mobile 4000 mouse and It was mostly recommended. Some people might have had some issues with the mouse but this happens. just bad luck... The ergonomy is great, blue track tech. is totally doing its job. Wheel and buttons are quite good. If you are a laptop user and seeking for a good mouse, I strongly recommend you to buy it. Dont waste your money on logitech mouses, m505 doesnt even have a back button which is as useful as wheel-click.

Don't waste your money

This is a piece of junk. Don't get me wrong, the design is great- it was one of the few with a back button, which is very handy. However, I've had it for maybe three months, and the thing has already burned its way through two AA batteries. a Microsoft salesperson talked me into buying it, and boy do I regret it. 'Oh, I haven't had to change my battery in a whole year!' Sure, whatever. What a waste of money. I've found that the 'BlueTrack' actually works worse than a regular optical mouse. I had to turn the tracking speed up to the maximum to get it to notice that I was actually moving the mouse. Not to mention the fact that the software likes to randomly decide: I'm not a Microsoft Mobile 4000 Wireless BlueTrack Mouse, I'm something completely different! Ugh.
