worked fine - right out of the box
pretty much plug n play; although came with drivers, it worked like any USB ex-hard drive.
It came with all kinds of power cords witch I thought a little unusual but handy if I need to go to Europe or China lol. if it didn't work for the other clients, maybe their SATA drives are shot? or that they are not plugging the cords in correctly?
Even one of my failing drives works fine with the adapter.. Could be the other clients really do have a faulty item
