Through scholarships, resources and our time we help inspire the dreams of youth.
Future Shop has partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada to open doors for thousands of young Canadians so they can create their own infinite possibilities.

Scholarships
In 2010, we celebrated 10 years of providing scholarships to students – an investment of $1.69 million in 520 university students. We’re proud of the accomplishments of the students and we’re continuing that tradition with the Future Generation Scholarship.

Here’s how Future Shop’s scholarships have assisted three Boys and Girls Clubs recipients and where they are now:

Scolarship Details

Since 2001, 520 scholarships have been awarded to youth from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. Each scholarship is valued at $4000 and includes a $1000 Future Shop gift card to purchase tools to help each student succeed.

Donating Resources

To help young Canadians develop their skills and encourage creativity, Future Shop has donated electronics, appliances and cash to create welcoming and engaging spaces for youth at Boys and Girls Clubs nationally. Over the years our donations have included hundreds of new and refurbished cameras for digital arts programs, new appliances, and over 450 computers for after school programs.

Giving our time

Our employees work behind the scenes to fundraise, purchase, and donate their time to paint clubs, set up new electronics and give back during our busiest time of the year with Holiday Hampers for families of the clubs.
