Bought this pair for use in a basement apartment and after 3 loads the washer pump failed and water would not drain from the unit. Beware you are getting what you pay for with this set. In this case go with a brand you know and trust!!
We purchased them about 3 months ago for our son, no issues yet. The ease of use and simplicity is outstanding. We have also purchased a pair of Bosch and Samsung in the pass 2 years at 5-6 times the price of these and to be honest the Haier have performed just as good as them. Even if they only last 5 years, I think they are a great buy at this price, since I don't see the others lasting 25-30 years. They are quiet and sturdy and very modern looking. In summary, great bang for the buck.
