How do I use my eCertificate code?
If you have received an eCertificate code from futureshop.ca, you can enter the code in one of two ways:
- In the shopping cart, look for the link "Redeem your eCertificate code before Secure Checkout" by the "Secure Checkout" button
- Follow this link (click here) and we'll take you there right now !
IMPORTANT: eCertificate codes MUST be redeemed before entering the "Secure Checkout"
Is my transaction information secure?

Will my credit card information be secure?

What are the different ways I can pay for my order?
It's easy to make a purchase at futureshop.ca. You can pay using a Future Shop gift card or Future Shop credit card as well as VISA, Mastercard and American Express cards issued from both Canadian and American financial institutions.
On Nov. 18, 2009 you changed the provider for your Future Shop credit card to CHASE. Why?
We are changing to CHASE so that we can better serve both our existing and new cardholders. It will allow us to offer more affordable payment options, provide longer call centre support, and run exciting financing promotions.
If I already have a Future Shop HSBC card do I have to apply for a new FS CHASE card?
No, you don't have to apply for a new card. All your current benefits and options will continue to be available for Future Shop HSBC cardholders.
If you wish to apply for a new Future Shop CHASE card, go to any of our convenient store locations and the process will only take 3-5 minutes. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
Will I still be able to use my existing HSBC card?
Yes, all of the current in-store options (purchase, payments, and returns) will remain available. Existing HSBC cardholders will still be able to make online purchases and new CHASE cardholders will able to purchase online as of Nov 18.
Can I use both HSBC and CHASE cards together on the same transaction?
Unfortunately, you cannot use both cards together on the same transaction for either in-store or online purchases.

When does my credit card get charged?
Your credit card is not charged until the day the item is shipped.
Will I receive a receipt for my transaction?
Certainly, You will get an official receipt for any transactions made on Futureshop.ca. To get your official receipt, simply follow these 4 steps:
- Login to your account
- Go to my orders
- Select the order for which you would like to print a receipt
- Click on link "Printable Electronic Invoice" and print
Electronic invoices are always conveniently kept on record in the event that you would want to access it in the future.

What are my shipping options?
There are several ways to receive your futureshop.ca order:
In-Store Pickup: Get free shipping by picking up your order at your local store. More Info.
Ground Shipping: The economical delivery method.
Express/Air Shipping: The fastest delivery….when you can't wait for your cool stuff.
Special Delivery: For heavy or bulky items that need installation (cannot be picked up in a store or shipped by Air). We'll contact you to schedule delivery. More Info.
Please use the Shipping Estimator tool in your Shopping Cart to calculate the costs and delivery times for each shipping option. The finalized charges will appear in step 2 and 4 of the checkout. These costs are calculated based on the product selection and your shipping address.
When can I expect to receive my order?
Our Shipping Estimator tool in your Shopping Cart provides an estimate of the delivery times for each shipping option. Actual shipment arrival depends on the availability of the product and the shipping method you select. Delivery is also influenced by order processing time (which includes credit verification and time to pick and pack your order). During busy periods and holidays, delivery may take longer than estimated so please allow extra time for product arrival.
How can I get my order faster?
Some of the most common causes of delays are incorrect, inaccurate or out of date information.
- Enter all addresses carefully and accurately
- billing address and phone number must match the details your bank has on file for you.

Does futureshop.ca offer international shipping?
We are unable to ship orders outside of Canada. But we do accept most credit cards issued in Canada and the United States for payment.
Can I order a product and ask you to ship it to someone else?
Certainly. Just enter the address where you want your product delivered, in the "Ship to" portion of the Checkout process.
Can I ship to a PO box address?
Yes: to make sure that orders being sent to PO boxes and rural route addresses get to their proper destination, please include a physical street address or highway number with your order.

Can I use a Future Shop gift card on your web site?
Yes: you can use up to three (3) gift cards at a time to pay for your purchases OR up to two (2) gift cards if you're using a credit card at the same time. Please retain your redeemed gift cards until you have received and are satisfied with your complete order.
How do I exchange or return product I bought online?
Exchanging or returning product is very simple: you can take product to your local store or send it back to us in the mail. You choose!

Exchanges & Returns - via Mail We also accept exchanges and returns via the mail. Please ensure that you complete our online return form (click here) before sending any item(s) back to us. We'll email you further instructions shortly after we receive your request. You'll need access to a printer or FAX to print the return label.
IMPORTANT If you need to exchange or return any online purchase that is a Special Delivery item, please call us on 1-800-663-2275 to arrange pickup.
Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective.

Can I purchase online and pick up my order at my local Future Shop Store?
Yes, you can now place an order online at futureshop.ca and pick it up at your nearest Future Shop store. In Store pick up is fast and convenient and you automotically pay the lowest price. For more information about in store pick up,

If I return a product, how long do I have to wait for a refund?
When you return a product, you will receive a refund within 7 business days of us receiving and verifying the item.
When you return a product that you have purchased using a credit card, the same card you used will be credited with the refund.

Environmental Handling Fees
Why am I charged an environmental handling fee?
Please be advised that your futureshop.ca purchase may include an environmental handling fee. Used to support provincial recycling and disposal programs, environmental handling fees are collected on products made with materials such as metal, glass, and plastic that can be recycled into other products. Handling fees are also collected on products that may contain substances that are hazardous to the environment.
futureshop.ca charges environmental handling fees on items that we ship to, deliver to or pick up in provinces or territories where we are required to do so. The handling fee amount reflects the applicable rate. You will see the handling fee amount during the checkout process.
How is the environmental handling fee displayed?
If you buy multiple products that are subject to an environmental handling fee, your shopping basket will display the individual handling fees for each product, as well as an environmental handling fee subtotal.
For example:

SKU 2: $199.99
SKU 3: $1299.99
Environmental handling fee: $25.12
Environmental handling fee: $52.32
Environmental handling fee: $253.85

What happens if I return a product?
If you return an item for which you were charged an environment handling fee, the amount of the handling fee will be refunded. Please refer to your packing slip or our return policy for more details on returning items.
