 IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE REGARDING HP NOTEBOOK BATTERY PACKS
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, on October 30, 2008, HP has announced a worldwide voluntary recall and replacement program for approximately 74,000 battery packs used in certain HP notebooks. HP customers affected by this program will be eligible to receive a replacement battery pack for each verified, recalled battery pack at no cost.

Remote Control for InsigniaTM DVD Compact Shelf System.
The white remote has model number NS-A1113 and “Insignia” printed on the front. The keypad has black numbers/letters. The recalled remote was sold only with the Insignia 100W DVD Compact Shelf System. The Shelf System is not being recalled.
If the batteries are placed backwards in the remote control with the positive and negative sides improperly switched overheating can result and present a burn.

It has come to Sony of Canada Ltd.'s attention that a limited number of Sony digital camera, camcorder and personal digital assistant (PDA) products that incorporate a charge-coupled device (CCD) or image sensor device, manufactured from October 2002 through March 2004, may exhibit the following condition:
When the product is used in camera mode, the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and/or electronic viewfinder displays either a distorted image or no image at all.
Sony Corporation has determined that this condition occurs very rarely, but may be accelerated if an affected product is exposed to high temperature and/or high humidity environments.

Hawking Wireless-G Router (Web_Id 10063095).
Industry Canada has determined that the Hawking wireless G router, model HWR54G(Web ID:10063095), does not comply with Industry Canada's equipment certification standards and thus has to be recalled immediately. If you have purchased this model please return it to a Future Shop store with your original invoice for a full refund.
